General description:
The hotel King Minos Retreat Resort and Spa, especially popular with honeymooners, is located approx. 150 m from a sandy beach. At the beach are sun umbrellas and sun loungers for a fee. The town Malia is around 9 km away (Heraklion around 27 km). A supermarket can be reached after around 300 m. It is 700 m from the hotel to the nearest bars and restaurants. Also the nearest disco is around 700 m away. For mobility during your holiday, there are a taxi rank as well as a bus stop in a distance of around 300 m and a car rental company. The airport (CHQ) is approx. 170 km away. Another airport (HER) is located approx. 27 km away.

Completely renovated in 2023, the 2-storey spa hotel consists of a main building and 7 adjoining buildings, and has 211 rooms in total. It is equipped with a 24h reception (check-in from 15:00, check-out until 11:00), a lobby with bar, 4 lifts, an air conditioning, a safe (for free) as well as a parking area (for free). For the meals, there is a restaurant (air-conditioned). You can relax in good company in the hotel bar. For guests dependent on a wheelchair the accommodation provides a barrier-free access. Room cleaning, room service, laundry service, concierge service and medical service (from 17:00 - 17:30) are available for a fee.
